Language in Motion was established in 2014 at the request of Deaf community members. We are a sign language interpreter agency that puts Deaf individual’s preferences first. We are proud of our commitment to provide qualified ASL interpreters to Louisville and surrounding areas. We strive to not only find an interpreter for the job, but the right interpreter for the job. Having worked and lived in this community for over a decade, LIM staff has a knowledge of the Deaf community members, the local area, and the interpreting field in general that will help match the right sign language interpreter with Deaf individuals. We are open to feedback and suggestions and welcome ways to improve our services.

Language in Motion serves Louisville and surrounding areas including Jefferson, Bullitt, Oldham, Franklin, Meade, Shelby and Hardin Counties in Kentucky. We also serve the southern Indiana area including Floyd, Harrison, Clark, Washington, Scott, Crawford, and Jefferson Counties in Indiana. We gladly provide sign language interpreters for Louisville, Shepherdsville, Frankfort, Elizabethtown, and many more cities in Kentucky as well as New Albany, Clarksville, Jeffersonville, Corydon, and others in Indiana.
